After a long battle with cancer, Cheryl Anne Malito, age 70 of Arvada, CO passed away peacefully on Saturday January 5th 2019 at the Collier Center (Lutheran Hospice) in Wheatridge, CO.

Cheryl was born November 20th, 1948 in Denver, CO to parents Roy and Mildred Rowland of Brighton, CO. She was a 1967 graduate of Brighton High School and went on to attend Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, CO. Later, though a blind date setup by mutual friends she met Ray Malito whom she married on June 30th, 1973. Cheryl and Ray lived in Arvada, CO where they raised their two sons Scott and Doug. Cheryl enjoyed ballet, reading, working with children and above everything else spending time with friends and family.

Cheryl is survived by: her husband Ray; her sister Sandy Walters; her sons Scott (Melissa) and Doug; Grandchildren Taylor and Ethan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, January 11th, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church located at 12735 W. 58th Ave., Arvada, CO 80002. Immediately following the service will be a luncheon to celebrate Cheryl’s life with the burial taking place at Arvada Cemetery, 5581 Independence St. Arvada, CO 80002.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to: the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org or The American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.

To the Family, so sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Cheryl has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God's Kingdom will do this under the rule of Jesus Christ.
