Obituary for Delfido Baca

Delfido Baca (Del) age 79, passed away March 26, 2020 at Aviva Fitzsimmons medical Center, Denver Colorado. He was born January 18, 1941 Las Vegas, New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife of 50 plus years Lucy Baca, His two Daughters, Geraldine Baca and Theresa Porras. His two sons Dale & Jason Baca. 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters.

Del worked at Hertz Rent a car and retired as a well-respected Teamsters Union representative. He went on to become a well-respected business Owner/operator of Baca Tires in Commerce City, Colorado, Del had the opportunity to work with many of his family over the years at Baca tires, at one point three generations working together.

Del was loved and adored by family, friends and his loyal following of customers over the year. If you ever wanted to get Del excited ask him about his Broncos. He would be happy to tell you all about the broncos good or bad. Bronco season will not be the same without him.


Due to the unfortunate events going on in the world, services will be held at a later date.

Del was my daughter Shelly's father in -law , He was always very kind . I remember the last time we ate out at Casa Del Rey and he and Lucy insisted on paying for our dinner . That is the kind of man he was. He will be forever in our hearts .God be with him and his family .
