Mom was one of 12 children (8 girls and 4 boys). They moved to Brighton, CO in 1937 where they grew up. When she was 12 years old, she had to quit school and work in the fields picking beans, pickles, and tomatoes to help the family. When she was 16 years old, she entered the work force and started working at Amour’s meat packing plant. After 38 ½ years of working, mom was forced to retire in 1990 for medical reasons.
We love you deeply mom and will miss you. We know that you will be joining dad and other loved ones and we can take solace in knowing that you will rest in peace for eternity with Jesus.
