Dorothy Hannah Coffman, 87, died Thursday morning, January 3, 2019 at the Medical Center of Aurora. She is survived by her sister Alice Dent and all five of her children; Susan Hyatt; Mike Coffman; Sharon DePrato; Tim Coffman; and Dan Coffman.

Dorothy was born in the French Concession of Shanghai, China on December 25th, 1931 to Elias Jacob and Ida Cecilia Manasseh. She was married in 1948 to Harold Coffman, a U.S.Army soldier, and immigrated to the United States after their marriage. Dorothy was a military spouse until her husband retired at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora. Her professional life included clerical jobs, teaching, and working with her husband as co-owners of a small business. For many years Dorothy was an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Aurora until her health prevented her from attending. During her final years she participated in activities and religious services at St. Andrews Village, in Aurora, where she resided until her passing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army Intermountain Division, 1370 Pennsylvania Street, Denver, Colorado. 80203.
