H. LeRoy Reeves, 86 years old, of Brighton, Colorado, went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 8, 2019 at home. A memorial service will be held at Sloan’s Lake Community Church, Friday April 26, 2019 at 3:00 pm. Reverend Ric Martinez officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial may be made to Sloan’s Lake Community Church, 2796 Utica Street, Denver, Colorado, 80217.

LeRoy was born September 10, 1932 in Denver Colorado, to Floyd and Laveda Reeves. LeRoy married Betty Wheatley on September 21, 1952. Through this union one daughter and two sons were born, Connie, Kenneth, and Russell. LeRoy and his wife resided in Denver and Arvada, Colorado for more than 50 years.

LeRoy and his partner started Arvada Drywall Services in 1969. They proudly served their community until retirement when LeRoy's sons took over the business and will be celebrating 50 years this year. Once LeRoy and Betty retired they spent their summers in Grand Lake, Colorado and winters in Mesa, Arizona. Together they enjoyed traveling, golf, bowling, fishing, and outdoor activities. After his wife passed, he resided with his children and then moved to Gardens On Quail until the last month in which he moved home with his children.

LeRoy loved his family, they were his passion. He was always there for them never failing to lend his support and prayers. If you ever ask him what he would like to do he always said, “Get the family together”. Those who knew him were better because of his love and this will be his legacy. As a result of the relationship he had with Jesus, he was a blessing not only in the lives of his family but for many around the world. He was always humble and full of grace and mercy. He was never too busy to have fun with his children, grandchildren and great grandkids; fishing, build campfires, eating ice cream, and eating ice cream, and eating ice cream.

He was survived by his Daughter Connie (Brad) Rhodes, Thornton, Colorado, his sons Kenneth (Chris) Reeves, Brighton Colorado, and Russell (Kelly) Reeves, Arvada, Colorado. Grandchildren, Brittany (Patrick) Queeney, Edgewater, NJ, Cassandra Rhodes, Thornton, Colorado, Chad (Diana) Reeves, Broomfield, Colorado, Aimee (Matt) Dunlap, Brighton, Colorado, Petty Officer Alexis Reeves USCG, San Francisco, California. Great grandchildren: CJ, Trystan, Jaxson Reeves and Boston, Tyler and Corbin Dunlap. LeRoy was also survived by a sister.
