Obituary for Helen Luiegene Rosentrater

Helen Rosentrater was born on April 17, 1943 to Helen & Dan Duffer Adams in Pocatello ID. Helen is the older sister to Nancy Mahrt. She met her soul mate Ron Rosentrater at Lincoln high school and were high school sweet hearts. She went to an opportunity school to become a beautician while working at a key shop in downtown Denver. She then pursued on to a nursing home facility in Federal Heights. In 1965 on July 17th she married Ron who was in the service which required her to live on the base until 1968. In the year 1971 she gave birth to their 1st child Melinda, then came her son Ronald Jr in 1973. In 1975 she completed their family with their third child Becky. Helen worked many jobs ranging from a cross guard, lunch lady, babysitter, Camp Fire parade assistant, care giver, shipping assistant in a warehouse and finally a florist. Helen loved the beauty of flowers, innocence of Angels and faith in God. Helen also loved the outdoors and would fill her limited spare time with fishing, camping, knitting, sewing, crocheting, gardening and she loved to cook. Helen passed on June 9th 2020. She was proceeded in death by (Spouse) Ron Rosentrater, (Father) Dan Duffer, and (Sister) Nancy Mahrt. (Children) Melinda Ziegler, Ron Rosentrater, and Becky Douglas. (Grandchildren) Sydney Rosentrater, Stephanie Ziegler, Jon Ziegler, Richard Douglas, Kimberly Douglas and Samantha Douglas. (Great Grandchildren), Kaya Ziegler, and Michael Salter-Douglas. She was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten.
