Obituary

Obituary for James P Malouff

Jim Malouff was born in Monte Vista, Colorado on April 10, 1947.
Family was very important to Jim. He and his parents John and Mary, siblings Margaret, Bob, John and Sarah spent many years celebrating all of life's big and little moments and did everything together including raising cattle and building custom homes.

Jim married the love of his life, Judy, in 1969. In 1972 they welcomed their first daughter, Lisa and then 17 years later were pleasantly surprised to welcome their second daughter Sarah. In 1986 Rance Grice was instrumental in changing the course of Jim and his families lives as this is when Jim and his brother John began to center the focus of their lives on the Lord and shared the saving Grace of Christ with their family. As important as spending time on earth with his family was, spending eternity in heaven together was even more important to Jim.

With the additions of his sons-in-law Troy and Travis, Jim finally had two sons to call his own. His grandchildren Tommy, Luke, Cooper and Emma are the final parts that completed his immediate family, they were truly his pride and joy.

Jim's love, generosity, loyalty, compassion and humility endeared him to many who considered him a second father, uncle and friend and his legacy will be carried on throughout this community. After a tremendous and long health battle Jim entered eternity on May 30, 2021, surrounded by his wife Judy and his family.
