Janis, you and the nurses in the LMC PACU were the best... and what a pleasure to work with y'all (as you would say.) Excellent patient care was always our primary objective, but we still found time to laugh, insult each other, and laugh some more.
I particularly enjoyed insulting you, Janis, because you could take it... and give it right back. Boy, could you give it right back.
We will miss you and that annoying Texas accent, Janis. Please do not insult St. Peter at the pearly gates. That is not a good strategy. Finally, say hello to Emily for Karen and me.
All our condolences to the Grubb family. She was a wonderful woman.
Love, Michael O'Manion and Karen

Jan, You will be missed so much. You took me under your wing when I came to the Pacu unit. I love you and will miss you so much. We had such fun. You loved when I rubbed your sore neck muscles when sitting at that nasty computer. You had a great life. You worked so hard. I love and miss you.

It was my privilege to work with Jan for many years at Lutheran. She was a very kind, generous, compassionate person. She had a great sense of humor which was on full display with a favorite anesthesiologist. She brought smiles and joy to each of us.

Jan was a great lady. She had such a pretty smile and an infectious laugh. I can still hear her, now. I worked with her for several years at Lutheran. She was like a second grandma to my 3 boys. She was loved and will be missed. Charlene Costain
