Obituary for John Paul Conable

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Paul Conable of Arvada, CO on Monday, December 16, 2019. He passed away with family around having spent most of the day with him celebrating his 84th birthday and a few family members actually at his side when he breathed his last breath.
John was the son of Seth & Minnie Conable from Potter County, Pennsylvania. John spent 4 years in the Air Force learning the refrigeration trade that would sustain his family through the 30+ years he worked the profession. His military service took him to Texas, South Dakota and then finally to Denver, CO where he settled his family. He met & married his wife while still in the service and proposed to her with an invitation to come to Colorado with him because she had expressed a love for Colorado. Both of them were native Pennsylvanians. All of his 4 children are native Coloradans. Since his childhood, John had been an avid big game hunter and outdoorsman. Many family vacations were spent in the mountains above Glenwood Springs. He loved his dogs of which he had many throughout his life.
John worked with Polar Refrigeration here in Denver for his entire career and retired from there in 2002. He was a handyman of many trades, from fixing cars to remodeling rooms within his home, there wasn’t much he couldn’t make work. His love for his family was evident in his patient care of and support of them. Though we will miss him greatly, we know the separation is temporary and look forward to our reunion in Heaven.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Seth & Minnie Conable, his brothers, Fred & Willis Conable, his son, Mark and his grandson Henry (Mark) Conable.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Conable, his son Seth (Elizabeth), his daughters, Jonelle (Enrique) Rodriguez & Pam (John) Craig, his daughter-in-law, Penny Conable, his grandchildren Jenny (David), Jessica (Bill), John (Valerie), Joshua (Elisabeth), Justin (Rebekah), Jason, Joseph, Jared, William, Caleb, Colin, Kaitlyn, Jacob & Sarah and 6 great grandchildren.
