Linda Ulvedal Eilert, 73, of Arvada, CO and longtime resident of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully at Lutheran Collier Hospice Center early Wednesday Morning, June 6, 2018 after a brave battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Linda was born to Roger and Edna Borgeson on November 17, 1944 in Detroit, MI and was raised in Great Falls, MT. She attended the University of Montana in Missoula where she was an active member of her Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was married on December 20, 1966 to Robert Jerome Ulvedal at Faith Lutheran Church in Great Falls. Linda was sadly widowed in October of 1978. She remarried Ron H. Eilert on November 6, 1980 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Evergreen, CO.
Linda spent her life working in two very diverse and successful careers, first as the President of Woodmaster Wholesale, and later as an extremely talented interior designer. She loved traveling and playing golf and was incredibly gifted in the arts, specifically sculpting and painting. Whitefish, MT and her cabin in Conifer, CO were her greatest places of joy. Linda's true passion in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She also developed many great lifelong friendships through the years, and they as well became her family. Linda will be remembered for her empathy and compassion, her beautiful blue eyes and infectious smile, her sense of humor, and sweet and funny stories she loved to share about her beloved children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband Ron H. Eilert, sons Greg Ulvedal (Devon) and Jeff Ulvedal (Jeni); grandchildren Lauren and Robert, Skyler and Keegan, sister Barb Oshman (Bob), stepsons Rob Eilert (Eileen), Dave Eilert (Kris) and Doug Eilert (Tiffany), and step grandchildren Maria, Kathryn and Adam.
