Lyndell Leland Aadalen was born on August 8, 1928 in Redwing, Minnesota to Orval and Hilma Aadalen.
He served in the United States Air Force in Japan during the Korean War. He eventually moved to Colorado where he met his wife to be, Judi Horner to whom he was married for 48 years.
