Obituary

Obituary for Lynn Newton-Graham

Lynn Graham, 55, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 7, 2021 after a long and difficult battle with Lupus which she fought with courage, strength, and tenacity. She never ever gave up.

She leaves behind a family whom she loved fiercely, was incredibly proud of, and who will miss her terribly.

Lynn arrived unexpectedly (and 3 months early) on January 1, 1966. Weighing in at only 2 lbs 6 oz, she was the miracle daughter of Dick (Richard L Newton) and Annette (Annette M Newton).

This is our tribute to a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend

She approached life with passion, humor, joy, and limitless energy. Despite the almost constant health challenges that she faced, Lynn was always there for her friends and family, with her loving and giving spirit.

She was truly a force of nature and unstoppable when she put her mind to something. Having Lynn in your corner meant having a warrior who would fight right alongside you for whatever you needed.

It’s impossible to put into words the essence that was Lynn. She was a unique, special, and magical person.
She was beautiful inside and out

She was late for everything – but worth the wait
She was wicked smart with an extensive vocabulary- she liked four letter words a lot.
She loved music (biggest Rod Stewart fan ever!)
She loved a good joke and cracked herself up all the time
She loved Tinkerbell – a little firecracker just like Lynn
She loved slot machines (and they loved her)
She loved stuff – and left a hell of a lot of it to her daughter and husband who have
no idea what to do with it so if you’re looking for that perfect knick-knack to complete your collection…
She loved The Wizard of Oz – Scarecrow was her favorite
She loved Good & Plenty, Hot Tamales, and banana popsicles
She loved Randy – 26 years of loving and aggravating the hell out of each other
She loved Bryanna – Oh how she loved Bryanna!

Lynn is survived by her Husband Randy Graham, Daughter Bryanna Graham, Father Richard Newton, Sister Karen Nutt, Brother-in-law Steve Nutt, Nephew Tyler Nutt, Niece Hannah Newton, and her many cousins and extended family.

All who knew and loved Lynn will never forget her energy, tenacity, humor, charm, generosity, and undying love and caring for them.

In our hearts, she’ll always stay forever young.

Please give generously to the Lupus foundation (lupus.org)
