Obituary for Marjorie A Sharp

Marjorie (Margie) Ann Sharp, age 75 of Arvada, Colorado, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, surrounded by her family. On Sunday she was admitted to the hospital with what was determined to be the flu. Margie was already in a compromised state, with health complications from lupus to asthma/COPD, that she lived with and fought through for many years. Her family gathered around her and prayed for her to fight this last battle, but learned Tuesday that this was a battle too difficult to win and she went peacefully to be with the Lord.
Margie was a loving wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 16, and friend to many. Her family and friends were very important to her and she always had time to be there with them and for them. She loved to play cards, Bingo and go to any casino. She loved to travel to visit her many friends and family around the United States. She loved watching the Bronco’s and has been a fan for years. Margie also attended many sporting events, school plays, band concerts, Grandparents days supporting her Grandchildren.
Margie was born January 29, 1944 in Portland, Oregon. She moved to Bismarck, North Dakota as a toddler and lived there until she graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1962. After graduation, Margie moved to Denver Colorado and lived with her aunt and uncle, Emily and Tony Joy and their family. Margie married Robert (Bob) Sharp December 22, 1973.
Margie is preceded in death by her Mother Rose (Braxmeyer) Lewis, Father Richard Lewis and mother-in-law Irma Sharp.
Margie is survived by her husband Bob Sharp; son Kevin Eldredge, wife Jennifer and their four children Cody, Megan, Malory and Carly; son Brian Eldredge, wife Polly and their four children Derrek and his wife Sarahlinna, Tyler, Connor and Katelyn; daughter Sheri Addis and her two children Makenzie and Madie; and, daughter Laura Pancratz, husband Todd and five children Tayler, Mason, Hadley, Zane and Brody; and father-in-law Bernard Sharp.

“May you come to find comfort in and remember: cardinals appear when angels are near.
So go now, sit outside and drink your tea.
Keep a look out for the little red bird — It is there, your loved one will be.”
