Obituary

Martha Beth Wagner died unexpectedly at home on April 7, 2020. She was born, the youngest of three daughters, on August 16, 1968 in Denver, Colorado to Emil and Sarah Wagner. As a child, she loved reading, running and playing with her friends and sisters. Martha and her sisters attended Denver Public Schools. Martha attended college at the University of Colorado at Denver where she majored in history.
As an adult, Martha enjoying cooking, online computer games, crocheting, knitting, and making homemade cards for her friends and family. She was always a compassionate and caring person and was often found helping someone in need or trying to find ways to make life easier for someone else. Her laugh was infectious and people of all ages were drawn to her. For several years, she taught children’s Sunday School classes at church and was beloved by all the children.
Martha worked at Schwab where she was a Senior Specialist Business Analyst in Alternative Investments. She had a unique way of understanding data and being able to work with numbers.
Martha was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her sisters Emily Wagner and Olivia Wagner Wakefield, a brother-in-law Andy Wakefield, two nieces, Allison and Natalie, and one nephew-in-law, Sean. Martha will be greatly missed.
A memorial service for Martha will be held at a later date when it is permissible for groups to gather.

As an adult Martha also loved camping in her beloved home state’s mountains. Once she even tackled Imogene Pass in her sport Saturn automobile! There are many other amusing stories she enjoyed telling for years after they happened! I will miss her dearly.
