Obituary for Nancy Ann Zanetell

Nancy Ann Zanetell (Friskney) went home to the Lord on December 18, 2019 in Westminster, Colorado at the age of 65.

Nancy is survived by her father Merle “Bud” Friskney, her daughter Alexis Zanetell, her brother Stan Friskney, and her sister Janet Bartel as well as multiple beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was greeted with open arms in Heaven by her mother Iva Friskney and son Jeffrey Zanetell, among other beloved family members.

Nancy was born on February 1, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Bud & Iva Friskney. She spent her life spreading kindness, patience, and humor. Her laugh and her smile will resonate for years. She spent hours having conversations with complete strangers because, as she often said, “she just had a face people liked to talk to” - which they certainly did. She was never too busy to help someone in need, which included the gift of her conversation.

Nancy was an incredible painter (thanks to Bob Ross!) and had a sincere love for gardening. She was a dedicated mother who loved her children with every ounce of her being and would’ve done absolutely anything for them. The presence of her absence will never leave.

Her funeral is scheduled for January 6, 2020 at 11:00am Aspen Mortuary in Arvada, Colorado and she will be laid to rest in Arvada Cemetery.
