Obituary for Odelia M. Quintana (Martinez)

Odelia Quintana, 92, of Denver, Colorado, passed on June 30, 2020.

Odelia was born to Juan Martinez and Maria Lucero on March 28, 1928 in Solano, New Mexico. She married Benny Quintana in 1949. Together they raised three children.
She leaves as her legacy three children: David Quintana (wife, Lauraine Quintana), Thomas Quintana (wife, Brenda Quintana), and Diana McCarl (husband, David McCarl). As well as three grandchildren: David W. Quintana (married to Kelly Quintana), Christopher Hollens (married to Kelli Hollens), and Stephanie Quintana, six great grandchildren: Dayana, Cody, Amari, Geo, Tanner, and Rhiley. She also leaves to cherish her memory five siblings: Nora, Ida, Viola, Ben and Ernie.

She was preceded in death by six siblings: Philip, Chris, Claudio, Joe, Connie, Betty, and granddaughter Crystal.

Her children and grandchildren remember her as a caring and fun-loving mother and grandmother. Well known respected with in the neighborhood and business community.


Odelia was a seamstress at Ben’s Upholstery, a company she owned with her husband Benny. She was a member of Alter Rosery Society at Presentation of Our Lady Church.

A Mass is scheduled for 10 am July 14, 2020 at Presentation of Our Lady Church, 695 Julian St, Denver, CO 80204. Immediately followed by a funeral at Fort Logan Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave, Denver CO 80236. Father Leo will officiate the ceremony.

The family would also like to thank the ladies with Bridges Community Homecare for their exceptional loving care of our beloved mother and grandmother.
