Obituary

Obituary for Robert Culver Wilkinson

Robert (Bob) Culver Wilkinson, 73, of Erie, CO, passed away March 12, 2021.

He was born on March 8th, 1948 in St Charles, IL to William and Mary (Holzworth) Wilkinson.
He briefly attended Cornell University, where he developed the perfect keg-to-attendee party
ratio, before politely being asked to leave. He went on to receive his bachelors of science
degree in economics from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where he met his best friend
and future wife, Deborah (Debby) Lynn Pace.
He and Debby married on October 10, 1970, and went on to have three children. They briefly
lived in St Louis, MO, and Tampa, FL, before eventually settling down in colorful Colorado to
raise their family and build a life together.

He loved to travel, whether for relaxation or fishing, and he did so with both family and friends.
He was passionate about business and ran numerous businesses throughout the years. His
entrepreneurial spirit drew him into a wide array of industries, including construction, dining and
catering, real estate, advertising, retail, and more.
Above all, he was a family man and a man of God. Family time was his favorite and it showed.
He was a devout Christian and an active member of his church.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Debby; children and spouses Elizabeth Wilkinson and
Lyle Weisbeck, Laura Lamos and Derek Metcalfe, and David Wilkinson; siblings and spouses
Tom Wilkinson and Deanna Sellars, Nancy and Kim Pisor, Jim and Cathy Wilkinson, John and
Elaine Wilkinson; in-laws Cathy Pace, and Grant and Lorri Pace; mother-in-law, Gloria Spurlock;
and grandchildren Jack, McKenna, Lauren, Danny, India, and numerous honorary
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; mother, Mary; and sister-in-law Julie Feingold.

A celebration of life will be held on March 27th at 10am at Grace Church - 6969 Sheridan
Boulevard Arvada, CO 80003.
