Obituary for Robert Earl Wilson

Robert (Bob) Earl Wilson, 94, passed away Saturday December 7, 2019 at his home in Arvada Colorado. Bob, an only child, was born December 28, 1924 to Earl Charles Beaver and Iva Dean Wilson in Kansas City, Missouri. Bob graduated from Christian Brothers High School. Bob served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Gunnar’s Mate 3rd Class on the USS Cowpens.
Upon his discharge he attended Northwest Missouri State College where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Bob met his beautiful wife Tina in Salina Kansas in 1951 and they were married February 9, 1952.
Bob and Tina moved to Denver, Colorado in 1952. Bob began his sales career selling Chicklets and Dentine Gum. In 1956 he joined the Merrill Drug Company as a Pharmaceutical Representative until his retirement in 1989. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, was an avid Denver Broncos, St Louis Cardinals and Colorado Rockies fan. He loved to travel, visiting 30 different countries and 40 of the 50 states, Bob also loved to golf. Bob was very active in his church, loved life and ALWAYS had a funny story or joke to share with everyone he met. Bob loved to talk about being a WWII Veteran, and could always be found proudly wearing his WWII Veteran cap.

Bob is survived by his wife, Tina; sons Mike and Brad Wilson; daughter Pam Brueggeman (Mike); grandchildren Jamie Evans (Rider); Tim Brueggeman (Tina); Cody Wilson (MaryLou) and Taylor Wilson (Una); great- grandchildren, Koa and Talia Wilson; Kaylee Wilson and Holly Brueggeman.

The Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 12735 W 58th Ave, Arvada, Colorado at 10:30 AM.
Committal Service will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery 2:15 PM, Staging Area ‘C’

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Tribute donations may be made to the Honor Flight Network at honorflight.org
