Obituary for Rose Mary Barbara Freson (Vogel)

RoseMary B. Freson, 87, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her home with family members present, in Arvada, Colorado. She was born on May 6, 1933 in Jefferson, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gottfried and Rose
(Brosemer) Vogel. She married Clarence E. Freson on July 1, 1950 in Jefferson. Clarence preceded her in death in 1989.
RoseMary was an excellent seamstress and made many pieces of clothing over the years for
her family which included costumes for grandchildren, a wedding dress for a daughter-in-law, various crafting, and quilts. She added to her family's income through several textile companies sewing in upholstery, leather, canvas, and cloth. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, antiquing, completing puzzles, playing Scrabble, and taking road trips. She loved the Colorado mountains and the Arizona deserts.

RoseMary treasured her family. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Crystal
(Butch) Schroeder, Morrison, IL; Gregory, Hudson, CO; Bradley (Barbara), Arvada, CO; and
Bruce, Bennett, CO. Her grandchildren include: Jamison (Angela) Schroeder, Stacy (Steve)
Reed, Lance Freson, Brandon (Sahisha) Freson, Aaron (Alena Lopez) Freson, Jessica (Rick)
Bishop, Jacob (Evelyn Tadeo) Freson, Christopher (Anne) Freson, Terrance (Lori) Freson, and
Sarah (Mike) Frye. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild;
numerous nieces and nephews; a cousin, Jerome Vogel; a sister-in-law, Philomena Vogel; and
a brother-in-law, Jerry (Helen) Freson.

RoseMary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers and sisters-in-law: Godfrey
(June), Raphael (Louise), Raymond (Ursula); a brother, Gordon; a sister and brother-in-law,
Catherine (Joe) Bowman; and a grandson, Robert Murray.

Cremains will be buried at Arvada Cemetery in Arvada, with a family graveside service at a later date.

Aspen Mortuaries of Arvada, Colorado is in charge of arrangements.

Rosemary was my grandmother who I was extremely close with. She picked me and my little brother up from school and watched us every Monday-Friday until I was 16 years old. I will forever love her and miss her.
