Obituary for Ruth Ann Cretsinger

Ruth Cretsinger age 83, loving mother and grandmother, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at Ralston Creek Neighborhood Assisted Living Facility in Arvada, CO.

Ruth was born and raised in Albia Iowa and was a graduate of Albia High School.
On February 21, 1953, at the age of 16, she married her husband Gary Cretsinger, son of Milo and Buelah Cretsinger of Guthrie Center Iowa.
They were married for 58 years before Gary’s passing in July of 2011.

On November 29, 1955 their daughter Jacque Ann Cretsinger was born in Luverne, Minnesota.
In 1962 they moved to Colorado, starting in Leadville, then moving to Fruita, and eventually to Arvada. While living in Leadville, she was the Food Service Director at the Colorado Mountain College. She was a homemaker most of her life.

She leaves behind a daughter, Jacque, her husband Michael, and her grandson Tyler Wright, and his wife Amanda.
Her husband Gary, parents, Wayne and Minerva of Albia, Iowa, her sister Katie and her brother Larry precede her in death.
