Obituary for Todd Story

Todd Story of Arvada, CO passed in peace on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in his home.
Todd was born on June 6, 1961 in Salem, Oregon. Todd is survived by his daughter Skyler Story; his grandchildren; Sylus and Oliver Story whom he adored. Todd is also survived by son, Josh (Amy) Story; step-daughter, Lisa (Brian) Keedy; sister, Lisa Arnold.
Todd was a dedicated grandfather and father. He was a phenomenal grandpa who always made birthdays and holidays extravagant for his grand kids. He was a hardworking man and a loyal friend. Todd loved race cars and cherished his free time at Bandimere Speedway and riding roller coasters.
He was a Chef for over 40 years. For the past 21 years, Todd was a dedicated, well-loved and respected employee of the City of Arvada as the Executive Chef for Arvada Events, West Woods Golf Club and Lake Arbor Golf Club.
He was the Head Judge for the IFSEA cooking competitions for many years at the annual conference. He was a volunteer firefighter and was recognized for his support of the Hot Times Cool Cars annual event for many years. He loved helping people in need. He was most happy at home when surrounded by his daughter and his grandchildren.
Services for Todd will be held at Aspen Mortuary; 6370 Union Street, Arvada on Thursday, August 29 at 11:00am with a reception to follow at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd.
